Conveyor Components and Transfer Pallets

League began making wooden wear parts for the textile industry during the 1920's. As the industry evolved there was an increasing demand for longer lasting, more durable products. At the dawn of the plastics age, League was one of the first companies in the textile industry to replace wooden parts with plastics. By the 1970's plastic had replaced wood in nearly all wear applications including textiles, food processing, canning and bottling, conveyors, waste water treatment, agriculture and pulp/paper processing. The purchase of our first CNC routers in the 1980's enabled us to produce parts in large volumes while holding extremely tight tolerances (+ or - .005"). Our newest CNC machine centers allow us to fabricate single parts up to 3" thick x 63" wide x 128" long.

Parts that we routinely fabricate for the conveyor industries include:

  • Wear plates
  • Cable guides
  • Chute linings
  • Curved chain guides
  • Cleates & shoes
  • Scraper blades
  • Conveyor rollers
  • Pulleys and wheels
  • Roller end bearings
  • Star Wheels
  • Guide Rails
  • Chain Guides
  • Hanger Bearings
  • Conical Rollers
  • Curved wear plates
  • Toughing rollers
  • Pillow block bearings

In addition to the parts above, we also manufacture transfer or "assembly" pallets. These pallets are typically used in appliance manufacturing so that the appliances can travel from workstation to workstation without being handled. The pallets that we manufacture are typically made from 1" thick plywood with phenolic laminated faces and PVC edge banding. We do, however, supply several types of lightweight plastic or aluminum pallets for special applications. Because many conveyor lines are completely automated, the placement of sensors, mounting hardware and stop plates is critical. Our machinery guarantees the tightest tolerances in the industry.
